About Us
Le Francais Mamuse Tamuse was founded on a simple conviction: great teaching isn't about perfection — it's about patience, clarity, and meeting each student where they are.
Our driving program prepares students not just to pass a test, but to drive with judgment and calm for life. Our French instruction goes beyond grammar drills, building the kind of conversational confidence that carries into real-world use.
Located in the heart of Portland's Northeastside, we've spent over a decade guiding learners through some of their most important milestones — from their first time behind the wheel to their first uninterrupted French conversation.

Our Approach
Every student brings a different background, a different pace, and a different goal. Our process adapts to all three.
We start with a conversation — understanding your goals, experience level, and what success looks like for you.
A tailored curriculum is designed around your schedule, learning style, and the specific skills you need to build.
Hands-on instruction with clear feedback. We celebrate small wins and treat mistakes as part of the process.
By the final session, you're not just prepared — you're ready. Confident, capable, and self-assured.
"The patience and clarity my instructor brought to every session made all the difference. I went from nervous first-time driver to confident behind-the-wheel — and that confidence carried far beyond the test."
A student's journey
Whether you're ready to book your first driving session or explore French classes, we're here to help you take the next step with confidence.
